This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect information when you install or use Qorix Reviews with your Shopify-powered store.
2. Information We Collect
To provide and operate our review collection services, we may collect and process the following information:
Information from Merchants
- Shopify store name
- Shopify store domain
- Store owner name
- Store language and timezone
- Shopify admin email address
- SMTP credentials provided by the merchant for sending review request emails
Information from Customers
When enabled by the merchant, Qorix Reviews may process customer information obtained from the merchant's Shopify store, including:
- Customer name
- Customer email address
- Order ID
- Product information
- Purchase and delivery information
- Payment or fulfillment status where required for review automation
Review Content
When a customer submits a review through Qorix Reviews, we may store:
- Star rating
- Written review
- Reviewer display name
- Photos
- Videos
- Review submission information
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above only to provide and operate Qorix Reviews and its features, including:
- Review Collection: Sending automated review request emails and follow-up reminders when configured by the merchant.
- Review Display: Displaying customer reviews, ratings, photos, and videos on the merchant's Shopify storefront.
- Review Management: Allowing merchants to manage, moderate, and organize customer reviews.
- Notifications: Sending administrative notifications related to reviews and app functionality.
- Fraud & Moderation: Helping merchants identify potentially inappropriate, spam, or fraudulent review content.
- Customer Support: Providing technical support and troubleshooting when requested.
- Service Improvement: Maintaining and improving the reliability and functionality of Qorix Reviews.
We do not use customer information for unrelated advertising or sell customer information to third parties.
4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
We may share or transmit information only with service providers that are necessary to operate Qorix Reviews, including:
- Shopify
- Qorix Reviews uses Shopify APIs to access information necessary to provide app functionality, such as orders, products, fulfillment information, and customer contact information.
- Email / SMTP Services
- When a merchant configures an SMTP service, Qorix Reviews may use the provided SMTP credentials to send review request and follow-up emails on behalf of the merchant.
- Cloud Hosting Providers
- We use secure hosting and infrastructure providers to operate our application and store application data. These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services to Qorix Reviews.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain merchant, customer, and review information only for as long as necessary to provide Qorix Reviews and its features.
When a merchant uninstalls Qorix Reviews, we will delete the applicable store data, settings, and personal information from our systems in accordance with Shopify requirements and applicable privacy laws.
We may retain limited information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements.
We also process applicable Shopify privacy and data deletion requests in accordance with Shopify's requirements.
6. Merchant Responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for ensuring that their use of Qorix Reviews complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
Merchants are responsible for:
- Maintaining an appropriate Privacy Policy for their Shopify store.
- Informing customers when their information may be processed by third-party applications.
- Ensuring that review request emails are sent in accordance with applicable privacy, marketing, and electronic communications laws.
- Obtaining consent or establishing another appropriate legal basis where required by applicable law.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through Qorix Reviews against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Qorix Reviews is intended for use by Shopify merchants and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding personal information, including rights to:
