Qorix Review – Gmail SMTP Setup Guide
To send review requests and other customer emails through Qorix Review, you need to configure SMTP.

Why Is SMTP Required?
Qorix Review uses SMTP to send emails directly to your customers. Without a valid SMTP configuration, customer emails will not be sent.
Step 1: Sign In to Your Google Account
Sign in to the Gmail account you want to use for sending emails through Qorix Review.
Step 2: Enable 2-Step Verification
Before creating a Google App Password, make sure 2-Step Verification is enabled.
Go to: Google Account → Security → 2-Step Verification
If it is not enabled, complete the setup first.
Step 3: Open App Passwords
In your Google Account, use the search bar and search for: App Passwords
Then open the App Passwords option.
Step 4: Create a Google App Password
- Enter a name to identify the password, for example: Qorix Review SMTP
- Click Create.
- Google will generate a 16-character App Password.
- Copy this password and keep it secure.
Step 5: Add SMTP Details in Qorix Review
Open Qorix Review → SMTP Settings and enter:
- Email: Your Gmail address
- SMTP Password: Your Google App Password
- SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
- SMTP Port: 465
The Gmail SMTP host and port are already provided by default in Qorix Review.
If you are using another email provider, update the SMTP details according to your provider's SMTP settings.
Step 6: Save SMTP Configuration
After entering all the required information, click Save.
Make sure the email address and App Password are entered correctly.
Step 7: Send a Test Email
After saving your SMTP configuration, send a test email from Qorix Review.
If the test email is delivered successfully, your SMTP configuration is working correctly and Qorix Review can send customer emails.
Important Notes
- Use a Google App Password, not your regular Gmail password.
- Make sure 2-Step Verification is enabled.
- Keep your App Password private and secure.
- Do not share your SMTP password publicly.
- Without SMTP configuration, Qorix Review will not be able to send emails to customers.
SMTP Setup Complete
Once the test email is successfully delivered, your Gmail SMTP setup is complete. Qorix Review can then send the required customer emails using your configured Gmail account.
